***********************************************************************************************************

This is the Panoramic Arts web site.

The creation of this site is but the first step towards the fulfillment of a mission:

To create an Archive for the Panoramic Image.

This archive would serve as a repository for historic and contemporary panoramic images from a wide variety of sources.

The Archive would keep the materials (from photographic negatives to CD-ROMs) in an appropriate environment, house them in appropriate enclosures, catalog and organize them for easy inventory and retrieval, preserve them if needed through treatment, duplication and/or reformatting, and provide access to them through traveling exhibits, publications and the Internet.

Fulfilling the mission will require abundant and committed energies from many people. I hope that you become one of them.

If you wish to continue, please visit the pages listed on the menu (to the left) in descending order.

Thank you for visiting Panoramic Arts.

Sincerely,

Richard Schneider "Webmaster"
